Summary
We will depart London Friday evening (departure locations confirmed nearer the time). Our destination is a bunkhouse we have used a couple of times before that sleeps 18 people across 7 bedrooms. Duvets and pillows are provided but not the bed lined so either pack single bed linen or just bring pillow case and sleeping bag. The accommodation is modern with good self catering kitchen, all the showers and toilets we need and a good lounge area. There is also seating outside with views across the fields towards the sea.
You will need to bring your own food for breakfast and packed lunches. Either bring this to your meeting point or buy at a services on the journey. For those who end up travelling with me this stop will be close to our destination in Swansea at a large supermarket. On Saturday night we will eat out at a local pub.
On Saturday our walk leaves from the hostel door. Our route takes us down towards Rhossili beach. This beach is always rated one of the most popular in Europe. We will then walk along the coast in the direction of Port Eynon. There is some stunning coastline so we will take our time on this walk. Depending on tide times anyone interested can cross Worm’s Head at low tide. When we finally reach Port Eynon you will be able to relax and maybe enjoy an ice cream. I will have left my car at Port Eynon earlier that morning and will shuttle people back to the accommodation where we can shower and get ready for our pub meal.

Rhossili Beach
On Sunday we will check out of the accommodation and drive to Oxwich. Oxwich is another lovely beach, popular with watersports. Our walk will take us the length of this beach and then onwards to Three Cliffs Bay. This is always a popular location so we will enjoy the Bay before we continue uphill towards the remains of Pennard Castle. Our route back is partly inland taking an elevated position with views from Penmaen. We will rejoin our outbound route at Oxwich for a final stretch along the golden sands back to the car park.

Three Cliffs Bay
You can expect to be back in London by about 7pm Sunday evening.
