We will leave London on Saturday morning at 9:00am for the drive to Bath and should arrive about 11am. We have booked all 12 beds in a 12 bed mixed sex dorm room at a hostel in central Bath. Once checked in you are free to explore this beautiful Georgian city at your leisure. You might even want to download the official Bath app for Android or iPhone. Sights include the famous Roman Baths, the Georgian architecture of the Royal Crescent, Pulteney Bridge and Bath Abbey. At this time of year we have the added bonus of being able to visit the prettiest Christmas market in the UK. The Bath Christmas Market is open until 9pm Saturday and contains over 140 stalls selling lots of gift ideas. It’s located in the heart of Bath next to the Roman Baths and Bath Abbey which makes a great backdrop when lit up at night. To add to the Christmas time feel this year there will even be an outdoor ice rink at Victoria Park. At the end of the evening it will be good to know that our accommodation is so close to all the action. It even has a lively pub downstairs which might be a good place to visit before retiring to bed.

On Sunday we will leave our accommodation and drive to Bourton-on-the-Water which is one of the prettiest Cotswold villages. The honey coloured buildings are a photographers dream as are the little bridges over the crystal clear water that is only inches deep! From here we will lead a popular walk that takes in some of the best Cotswold views including the villages of Upper and Lower Slaughter.

At the end of the walk we will head back to London and you can expect to arrive back by about 6pm latest.
